SOB on exertion

Case 1 Answer


History:
This ECG was recorded from a 82 year-old man presented with SOBOE. He has an extensive past history of IHD.

ECG shows:

  • AV dissociation; atrial rate 88/min, ventricular rate 38/min
  • LAD, LBBB, Prolonged QT interval
  • T wave inversion in anterior and lateral leads, consistent with ischaemia or non-Q MI
  • Q waves in inferior leads, suggestive of old inferior infarct.
