Atrial flutter 3


History:
This ECG was recorded from a 61 year-old lady presented with one week of increasing SOB and lower limbs swelling. Denies of chest pain and palpitation. Previous ECG was in sinus rhythm.

ECG shows:

  • Typical (counterclockwise) Atrial flutter with variable 3:1-4:1 AV block
        -Atrial rate 300/min, no change in p waves morphologies
        -Rhythm slightly irregular, mean ventricular rate 65/min
  • Normal axis, QRS duration, QT for rate
