Atrial flutter 1


History:
This ECG was recorded from a 70 year-old man complaining of SOB and palpitation.

ECG shows:

  • Typical (counterclockwise) Atrial flutter with 2:1 AV block
        -Atrail rate 300/min, no change in p waves morphologies
        -Mean ventricular rate 140/min, QRS rate is approximately half the flutter rate (small arrow)
  • Normal QRS axis and duration, QT for rate
